CONFERENCE PRIVACY NOTICE

1. Privacy and Data Protection

The personal data provided upon registration will be processed by the Brazilian Food Industry Association – ABIA, as data controller, for purposes related to the registration, organization, delivery and communication of the Conference, including accreditation and the provision of information necessary for participation in the event.

Personal data will be processed in accordance with applicable data protection laws, including Brazilian Federal Law No. 13,709/2018 – the Brazilian General Data Protection Law (LGPD) and, where applicable, Regulation (EU) 2016/679 – the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

Personal data may be shared with service providers and partners involved in the organization and delivery of the Conference, including those located in other countries, subject to applicable data protection and security measures.

Participants may exercise the rights available to them under applicable data protection laws, including requesting access to, correction of or, where applicable, deletion of their personal data, by contacting ABIA at eventos@abia.org.br.

2. Use of Image

The Conference may be photographed, filmed and/or recorded for institutional record-keeping purposes and for the communication and promotion of ABIA's activities and the Conference itself, including through its websites, social media channels, publications, presentations and other institutional communication channels.

By attending the event, participants acknowledge that their image and/or voice may be incidentally captured in general photographs or recordings of the venue, activities, panels and audience.

For individual photographs or recordings, interviews, testimonials, or other uses in which a participant is the primary focus of the image or recording, specific authorization will be requested where required under applicable law.
